Century’s all-weather outdoor green is the ideal playing surface for the recreational bowler. It has several advantages over grass:

You can play in virtually all conditions, unlike grass greens which are often closed after heavy downpours. 

You won’t find our outdoor green closed for mowing, fertilising, scarifying, weedkilling, fungicide treatment or moss killing.

Your shot won’t be ruined by a bump in the green, a worm cast or a bald patch of grass. And unlike many municipal greens these days, you won’t have to put up with inconsistent grass length and general poor maintenance. 

Our all weather outdoor green plays somewhat faster than grass, which means if you can’t reach those long jacks because of disability, injury or advancing years, at Century you’ll be able to bowl the full length of the green.
