Lawn bowls on a 6-rink indoor green all year round and a 6-rink outdoor green in the summer. In addition, we have comfortable lounge areas, two bars, a games room and social events that are run throughout the year.

We organise daytime and evening leagues plus several knockout tournaments for all abilities. We have teams playing in county and national competitions as well as friendly matches against local clubs.

Century has a spacious car park that surrounds the club. There are six disabled bays immediately outside the main entrance.

Message us and we'll arrange a tour of the club for you. Complete an application form and pay your first year's membership fees and that's it.

If you're an experienced player, that's it.

If you're a beginner, you'll need a clean pair of flat shoes for your coaching sessions. We don't allow outdoor shoes, which can carry grit and dirt onto the carpet, to be worn on our greens.

After that, you'll probably want to buy a second-hand set of bowls. Club members often have good sets available for sale, or sets can  be bought online on eBay or other bowls sites from around £60. You're coach will advise you.

As you progress, you may want to buy a measure and some chalk, which will cost you less than £20.
